Previously managed by Public Health Wales in Cardiff, this third Combatting CDI conference is now run by the newly formed charity, C. diff Trust. It builds on the success of last year’s event, where participants engaged with international speakers and patients on the main stage, to discuss the C. diff landscape, and exhibitors from leading pharmaceutical and diagnostic companies joined us for refreshments to discuss the latest healthcare solutions.
The two-day hybrid event is aimed at healthcare professionals in the UK and Ireland; we welcomed over 150 in-person attendees last year and a similar number online.
We are excited to once again host expert speakers in the field as well as patient-led presentations.
Sessions will follow the entire patient journey, finishing with a call to action for all attendees: ‘What one thing will you do?’.

EARLY BIRD Registration is free of charge until Friday 22nd August when the price of £50 per day will be introduced so book now to avoid this fee.

The Dock area offers a wide range of restaurants and please note that if you arrive early the Royal Armouries are free of charge to visit.

You can travel from the central train station by water taxi as shown on the image opposite, or walk if you prefer but it is 18 minutes on foot or 11 minutes by car.

ACCOMMODATION OPTIONS:
The Holiday Inn Express Royal Armouries is situated right next door to the Royal Armouries and are offering a rate of £139 Bed and Breakfast per room per night (single occupancy).
The Leonardo Leeds is situated ten minutes walk from the Royal Armouries, it is a 4 star hotel and are offering a rate of £129 Bed and Breakfast per room per night (single occupancy).

Car Parking is available at a multi story onsite the charges are listed on the image opposite. Unfortunately there are no special rates for parking and all charges must be paid at the paystation before departure
